My role as a Holistic Sleep Coach is to work with you to assess your child's sleep, development and diet to determine where the root cause of their difficulties with sleep might be.
This will involve a questionnaire prior to your consultation, and a brief phone call, followed by a more in depth consultation where we review their sleep diary and discuss all your concerns and observations.
My aim is to get to know your child, and your family, so I can help you work towards a solution which suits you as a family - and that will be different for everyone!
My support is completely tailored to your child and your family and respective of your parenting style and preferences when it comes to sleep, whether that be independent sleeping, co-sleeping or bed sharing.
All of my packages involve time spent helping you to understand your child's development and their sleep. It's important to me that I'm not giving you a prescriptive sleep program, but helping you to understand why your child is having difficulties with their sleep and how we can take a holistic approach to support this in the most gentle way possible.
I do not advocate for methods such as cry it out or controlled crying. Research (and gut instinct!) tells us this is potentially very dangerous for babies, and for our emotional and physical health as parents.
My aims as a Holistic Sleep Coach are to help you understand and communicate with your baby, so you can best meet their needs and help them enjoy gentler, calmer sleep!
I have completed OCN Level 4 Gentle Sleep Coaching and the OCN Level 6 Holistic Sleep Coaching program and had the pleasure of studying under Lyndsey Hookway, world renowned sleep consultant, author and creator of the Holistic Sleep Coaching program.
